Sopore: A 26-year-old man, abducted by unknown gunmen in Unisoo area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Wednesday, was found dead in Check Harwan orchards on Saturday morning, police said.

According to reports, on Wednesday afternoon masked gunmen kidnapped Tawseef Ahmad Ganaie (26) S/o Mohd Afzal Ganaie R/o Batalepora Puj Mohalla Tujar Sharief Sopore

Speaking to ‘Kashmir Images’, Senior Superintend of Police Sopore, Javaid Iqbal, said that Tawseef’s dead body with clear bullet wounds was recovered from Check Harwan orchards. “Police team is on the spot who ascertaining details. It is clear LeT have killed him and body will be sent to postmortem and later will be handed over to kin,” officer added.

Meanwhile, police have registered a murder case and started investigation.
