Baramulla: A youth was crushed to death by speeding a vehicle at Singhpora Pattan in on Friday evening and the vehicle fled from spot.
Witness said a speedy vehicle bearing number JKO5F 3531 crushed an 11th class student to death at Singpora Pattan.
The slain youth was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Nayeem Ahmed Bhat son of Late Abdul Ganai Bhat of Darveshbagh Pattan .
Police has taken cognizance and search is on to trace the driver.
