Srinagar: A Kashmir student was injured after he was allegedly beaten by a group of students at Sharda University in Greater Noida area of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Some students from the said university called several newspaper offices in Srinagar saying one of their university mates, Ahtisham, who is pursuing bachelors in Medical Imaging Technology (BMIT), was admitted at Sharda hospital after he sustained injuries during an attack by some goons.
They said, Ahtisham was injured when a scuffle broke out between the local and Afghani students on the university campus.
They said a group of students beat up Ahtesham, leaving him badly injured.
