Sopore: An alleged Over Ground Worker (OGW) escaped from Police Station Sopore on Friday afternoon. He was arrested three days before by government forces in Sopore outskirts.
According to sources, an inmate identified as Mehraj -U- Din Khan alias Marouf of New Colony Sopore escaped from police custody. They said Khan was lodged at police station Sopore.
Initial reports suggested that police is still verifying as to how the alleged OGW managed to escape from the police station.
