Budgam, Oct 03: While investigating the case of burning of Panchayat Ghar in Kultreh village of Chadoora, Budgam police recovered incriminating material from a house in Daulatpora village here on Wednesday, police said.

Police spokesman in a statement said that they conducted a search in a house after obtaining search warrant from the court.

“Continuing its investigation of a sensitive case registered at Budgam. Incriminating material like 3 magazines of AK 47, one pouch and other articles were recovered during the search.”

“Search warrant was obtained from the competent court and accordingly a house was searched in Daulatpora village.”

It is pertinent to mention that a Panchayat Ghar was set on blaze in Kultreh village of Chadoora on September 19. Police had registered a case and probe was initiated.

Police spokesman said that further investigation of the case is in progress.
