SRINAGAR, OCTOBER1: Advisor to Governor, BB Vyas today met Union Secretary for Rural Development, Amarjeet Sinha and discussed various issues related to J&K’s Rural Development sector.

The Adviser discussed with the Union Secretary about the liabilities of MGNREGA and asked for early release of funds. He also discussed the other issues related to the State’s rural development sector.

He also discussed with the Union Secretary about the progress on implementation of the various schemes in rural development sector in the State. He maintained that necessary mechanism has been put in place to ensure that all the schemes are implemented within the set time-frame and the targeted populace gets benefitted.
