Baramulla: A Bhartiya Janata Party candidate who had filed his nomination for Muncipal Council polls in Baramulla town has announced has withdrawn his nomination.
The candidate Waseem Ahmad Bhat had filed his nomination papers for Ward 6 Mir Shab Mohalla of old town of Baramulla Municipal Council.
He announced his decision via social media.
“I seek apology for my mistake of filing nomination papers for MC polls. Without any pressure I am resigning and from now I am not affiliated with any party,” says Waseem in video clip.
