Srinagar: A militant and an army man were killed during an encounter between the militants and government forces in Dalwach Dooru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sources said that an army man and a militant were killed during a pre-dawn encounter at Dalwach Dooru in Anantnag. Search operation is underway as the government forces suspect more militants could be hiding at the area.
The slain militant was identified as Asif Malik alias Abu Ukasha of Khahgund Verinag.
