Higher reaches in Chenab Valley receives season’s first snowfall

Srinagar, Sep 23: The higher reaches of Chenab Valley received the season’s first snowfall on Sunday, The season’s first snowfall was witnessed in higher reaches including Kailash Kund and Sonbhai with the mercury plunging, signaling the onset of the winter season.

As per the details pouring in, moderate rainfall was witnessed from yesterday evening which brought an end to the month-long dry period.
