Srinagar: Kargil police organized Bharat Darshan Tour which was flagged off by DC Kargil Vikas Kundal, SP Kargil Dr. Vinod Kumar and CEO Kargil Mohammad Mussa at District Police Lines Kargil.
49 students from various Government Schools are part of the tour “Apna Bharat Jano”. During the tour students will visit Delhi and various other places. The students will be accompanied by two caretakers from district police Kargil to ensure proper health care and safe journey of the students.
During the flag off ceremony, students were made aware that aim of the tour is to provide them platform to gain knowledge about the diversity and cultural heritage of various places in India. They were also briefed to take note of good practices prevailing in the place they are going to visit.
Among others, the function was attended by Addl. SP Kargil, DySP Hqrs Kargil, DySP DAR Kargil, Sr. PO Kargil and other officers of the district.
