Work of 132 KV Transmission Line tower launched at Surankote

POONCH, SEPTEMBER 16: The work for the construction of a vital tower for 132 KV Draba-Chandak transmission line was started here at Kallar Kattal, Surankote.

The Tower no 34 of the Transmission Line is being constructed by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited at an estimated cost of 25 cr.

District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav launched the construction work in presence of SDM Suronkote, Chief Manager PGCIL, Xen S&O and other officials.

Later, the DDC also visited Grid Station and Control room of 132 KV Draba-Chandak transmission line. He took stock of the upcoming construction of Bay for 20 MV Transformer at the Grid Station.
