Srinagar, Sep 06: A carpenter slipped to death while constructing the roof of a building in Shahabad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last evening.
Reports said that Muhammad Ashraf Bhat (40), a resident of Dangerpora village, was constructing the roof of a building when he slipped and fell down.
He was shifted to sub-district hospital Sopore in unconscious state wherefrom doctors referred him to a hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment.
However, he succumbed at the Srinagar hospital.
