Ganderba Sep 01: Hazrat Khuwaja Mohi -Ud-Chishti (HKMC) Educational Institute celebrated its 18th Annual Day with pomp and show on Saturday.
The programme commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest in presence of other dignitaries, this entailed the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges.
The Chairman of the School, Ghulam Hassan presented welcome address. He also delivered annual report of the school highlighting achievements of the school.
Students of the college presented various cultural programme based on the theme ‘KASHMIRI’ for the peace and happiness comprised the welcome dance and many colourful dance performances. The special attraction was the play ‘Old Age Home’ which mesmerized the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Ganderbal lauded the efforts of the students for their performances and the staff for providing quality education. He emphasized on participation of students co- circular activities.
Later awards of appreciation were presented to meritorious students of the school.
