IG (Operations) CRPF, IGP, ADGP Security meet Governor

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31: Zulfiquar Hassan, Inspector General (Operations) CRPF, met Governor Satya Pal Malik  at the Raj Bhavan here today and presented him a copy of “Amarnath Yatra-A Pictorial Journey”-  which is a Coffee Table book brought out by the CRPF,  having scenic photographs  illustrating whole yatra route and conduct of Shri Amarnthaji Yatra.

Complimenting the Officer for bringing out a very interesting book on Shri Amarnathji Yatra, Governor appreciated the CRPF personnel for maintenance of law and order and for their role in the smooth conduct of annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

Muneer Ahmad Khan, ADGP, Home Guards, Security, and Law and Order, met Governor Satya Pal Malik and briefed him about several important matters relating to Security and Law and Order management in the State.  He also briefed Governor about the deployment and role being played by the Police in conduct of annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

Governor emphasisied the importance of a secure environment being maintained in the State and stressed that all Security Forces must act with complete synergy to achieve effective security on the ground.

Meanwhile, Alok Kumar, IGP Security, met Governor and briefed him about the security management in the state.

Governor stressed the importance of close surveillance being maintained on all fronts. He emphasized the vital importance of regularly reviewing and effectively ensuring the security of all protected premises and vital installations and to constantly review and identify any gaps in the security arrangements.
