SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31: Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and Joint Director of Information Kashmir Division today accorded affectionate send off to Abdul Majid Dar, Section Officer, Kashmir Division on his retirement on superannuation.

In this connection an impressive function was held here today in which the employees of all wings of the department participated.

The Joint Director of Information Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak presided over the function while as Assistant Directors Shakeela Shawl and Mohammad Aslam were also present.

The speakers lauded the role and contribution of Abdul Majid during his period as section officer. They said that he was amongst the most professional officer who made remarkable achievements for the welfare of the employees.

Later, the Joint Director presented a shawl to the retiring officer in recognition of his distinguished services. He also presented him bouquet on behalf of the employees’ union.
