Reasi:Admin to conduct physical verification of IHHL units

REASI, AUGUST 30: The District administration Reasi is soon going to conduct physical verification of Individual Household Latrines (IHHL) constructed under the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Chairing a meeting here today, the Additional District Development Commissioner Ramesh Chander formed committees to conduct the verification.

The ADDC instructed the committees to conduct physical verification of   at least a quarter of the total units and that too on random basis to see that IHHL units are actually constructed and are being used by the inmates. The ADDC also highlighted the relevance of this exercise with respect to the goal of declaring district Reasi as Open Defecation Free (ODF).

The committee members were advised to submit their reports by the   September 10, 2018, so that further necessary action for declaring   Reasi ODF is   taken.
