BARAMULLA, AUGUST 25: District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Nasir Ahmed Naqash, today chaired a District Task Force meeting here to monitor the preparedness for Measles-Rubella vaccine campaign for the district.
The meeting was attended by members of the Task Force Committee including Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education officer, Deputy CMO, District Immunization Officer, Block Medical Officers, CDPOs and other field functionaries.
Deputy Commissioner, while highlighting the significance of the programme, stressed for better coordination for the overall success of the campaign.
He exhorted upon educating people at the grass root level about the vaccine campaign. He also directed the officers of line-departments to ensure the coverage of children in the age group of nine months to 15 years under the campaign which is being launched on September 1, 2018.
