DM Ganderbal chairs DLSCC meeting

GANDERBAL, AUGUST 20: – District Magistrate Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla today chaired a joint meeting of officers of different agencies associated with the District Level Screening and Coordination Committee (DLSCC) to review the militancy related cases for ex-gratia and other compensations to militancy affected families.

During the meeting, 11 cases were put up before the committee pertaining to the cash compensation/appointment/structure damage assessment deliberated by the committee. The reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases.

The committee after deliberating in long marathon exercises sanctioned cash compensation to the tune of Rs 20 lakh for five cases recommended two cases for job as per the extent provisions of SRO-43 and Ex-gratia relief on the matter. Besides, four cases were sent for re-enquiring for clarification by the committee.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Naseer Ahmad Wani, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Nisar Ahmad, Additional Superintendent of Police, Ganderbal, representatives from Army and CRPF.
