Terming the use of ‘brute force’ against the civil population as the worst form of ‘vengeance and state terrorism’ he said that the Hurriyat expressed its serious concern about the victimization of the common people by the local army camps and special operation group (SOG) of police in Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Bandipora, Handwara and Baramulla.

“Bulldozing the residential houses, damaging their basic necessary belongings, beating the people ruthlessly and forcing them to stay at roads and lanes for the whole nights is a sheer violation of human rights and desecration of the human values,” the spokesman was quoted as saying.
