Civilian killed, 3 injured in Awantipora grenade blast

Srinagar, Aug 17: One of the four civilians injured in a grenade blast in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday died in a hospital in Srinagar.

Reports said that Abdul Ahad Pinchoo of Jawbhra area who was among the four civilians injured in the blast succumbed at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar.

Pinchoo and three other civilians were wounded after militants lobbed a grenade at the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Awantipora.
