Sultan Warriors lifts 15th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2018

Pattan, Aug 11: Sultan Warriors defeated Kaka Xi by 42 runs in the final match of the 15th SNW Cricket Tournament Chanderhama.

Earlier, Warriors won the toss and decided to bat first with the help of blistering innings by Rayees Ahmad who misses century and scored 97 and Hilal made 32 runs they scored 189 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, for Kaka Xi Jhon Mohd took 3, while as Syed Rashid and Omer Gadu took 2 wickets each.

In reply Kaka Xi fail to chase the target and were all-out on 147 runs in 19.2 overs, for Kaka Xi Umer Nabi was the highest scorer who scored 33 and Adil Ganguly and Manzoor Illahi made 29 runs each.

For Sultan Worriors Nisar Ahmad took 3 Danish took 2 wickets.Sultan Worriors won the match by 42 runs.

Rayees Ahmad was declared player of the final match and Best moment of the match award was given to Hilal Ahmad. Rayees Bashir was declared Player of the tournament who scored 242 runs and took 9 wickets in the tournament.

On the closing ceremony of the tournament winners were given a trophy and 1Lac cash award while as Runners-up team was given a trophy and 50 thousand cash award, Nisar Ahmad was given best batsman of the tournament and Hilal was given best bowler of the tournament award, on the presentation ceremony Incharge North kashmir JKCA and former Ranji Trophy Chief Coach Ab Qayoom Bagav was the chief guest and he distributed the prizes.

In this tournament 64 teams of the valley took part and the tournament was organised by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama.
