Srinagar, Aug 12: The body of a missing person was recovered from Vaishaw stream in Mutalhama village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, police said.
An official said the body of Danish Parry, son of Gulzar Ahmad Parry, was retrieved from Vaishaw Nallah in his native Mutalhama village.
He said the body was taken to Kulgam district hospital for post-mortem.
“In this case, proceedings as per 174 CrPc were initiated and initial investigation suggests that there are no injury marks on the body,” he said.
Parray was reported missing on August 07, following which a missing report was lodged on the same day at police station Kulgam, said the official.
