Pulwama, Aug 12: Government forces on Sunday resorted to aerial firing to chase away protesters during a search operation in Sirnoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said youth took to streets and pelted the forces with stones as soon as they launched a cordon and search operation in the village today afternoon.
They said the forces resorted to teargas shelling and aerial firing to chase away the protesters.
However, no one was injured during the clashes, reports added
