Tangmarg: Asif Rashid Jan was elected President Tangmarg Traders Association today defeating sitting president Shahnawaz Ahmad Wani.
Reports said that 181 traders cast their votes during a secret ballot.
Asif Jan secured 108 votes defeating outgoing president with 33 votes as he managed to get only 73 votes.
While thanking all the traders of Tangmarg for their support, Asif Jan said that he will always be on the fore front to resolve the genuine issues of the traders.
