Div Com Kashmir reviews progress of anti-encroachment drive

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 11: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir today appealed people not to indulge in illegal construction activities and encroachments on state and kahcharia land which warrants strict action as per the law.

The Divisional Commissioner made these remarks during a meeting here convened to review the progress of the anti-encroachment drive being held across the division.

The meeting was informed that, so far, various district administrations of the Kashmir division have retrieved 3360.60 kanals of Khacharie and 873.40  kanals of State land from illegal occupants.

On the occasion, Khan directed for intensifying anti-encroachment drives across all the districts on a daily basis so that encroachment on roads, National Highway (NH), state and kahcharai lands are removed at an earliest.
