Ganderbal, Aug 11: Four persons including a minor girl were injured in two seprateroad accident in Sonamarg and Sopore Saturday.

A minor girl was critically injured in a road mishap on Srinagar-Leh highway in Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

A police official said a vehicle (JKO1L- 7032) heading to Srinagar from Sonamarg hit and critically injured a girl near fish pond Sonamarg.

The injured girl, a resident of Bemina Srinagar, was rushed to PHC Sonamarg wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.

Police has registered a case in this regard, said the official.

Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a road accident in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that three persons were injured after their motorcycle was hit by a car near Noorbagh bypass road Sopore.

All the injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore, wherefrom they were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

The injured were identified as Sabzar Ahmad, Zubair Ahmad and Owais Ahmad – all residents of Reban Sopore.

A police official said  a case has been registered into the incident.
