Sultan Warriors Srinagar qualifies for final by defeating PCC Pattan

Pattan: In the first Semifinal of the 15th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy at SNW Memorial Ground Chanderhama, Sultan Warriors Srinagar won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost their opening batsmen Mohsin Ramzan and Rayees in the early overs.

After the opening pair of SWS went back to pavilion, Aqib and Parvaiz took the charge and contributed 45 and 37 runs respectively and thereby setting the target of 145 runs for Pattan. Ayaz and Mushtaq took 2 wickets each for Pattan.

In reply, PCC Pattan couldn’t start well and lost early wickets, in the middle Bilal and Mohsin played some beautiful shorts all over the ground, but couldn’t finish on a winning note. Bilal Scored 31 runs, while as Mohsin added 24 Runs.

For Sultan warriors Ayaash and Sameer took 3 wickets each while as Hilal and Nissar took 2 wickets. Sameer (Bell) was declared as Man of the match for his valuable 3 wickets. Hilal was awarded best moment of the match for his game changing bowling spell.
