Jammu, Aug 10: Two teachers have been arrested for allegedly teasing and abusing girl students at a private pre-nursery school in Trikuta Nagar area of the city, police said today.
Based on complaints filed by the victims’ family, the police registered cases under section 354 of Ranbir Penal Code (assault or criminal force to women with intent to outrage her modesty) against three teachers of the primary school on Tuesday.
Two of the accused were arrested on Wednesday, however the third accused was at large, officials.
Meanwhile, protests demanding action against the accused rocked parts of Trikuta Nagar and Chatha area in the city.
