Makkah, Aug 09: A 58-year-old woman Saida Begum died here in Makkah after suffering cardiac arrest late Wednesday.

According to the family of the deceased woman, she was laid to rest today after Fajr prayers.

Speaking to ‘Kashmir Images’ in Makkah, deceased woman’s husband Abdul Qayoom Kullu, resident of Nowpora Bala Shopian, said, “Yesterday after ‘Zuhr’ prayers, my wife suddenly felt unconscious inside the hotel rom. I took her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.”

Another pilgrim, 68, a resident of Anantnag district also died in Makkah after brief illness.

One Abdul Aziz, son of Ghulam Mohammad Kumar, passed away at Al-Noor hospital Makkah on Thursday after being diagnosed as suffering cancer.

Hospital authorities confirmed to ‘Kashmir Images’ that Aziz was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment from last two days.

According to the Hajj authorities, Abdul Aziz will be buried in Makkah Muazamah.

So far a total of four Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir have died here.
