Srinagar, August 5: While strongly condemning the killing of a civilian in Ramban, CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, today asked the authorities to probe the incident thoroughly to fix the responsibility.
“The circumstances in which the civilian was shot dead and another was injured in Kohli area of Gool tehsil in Ramban district needs to be probed thoroughly. Losing precious human lives is most unfortunate and mere condemnation on such incidents isn’t enough,” Tarigami was quoted as saying by the press release.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Tarigami demanded compensation to the victim family.
