SP traffic Srinagar conducts traffic review meeting

Srinagar, Aug 05: SSP Traffic City Srinagar, Tahir Gillani JKPS,  conducted a traffic review meeting at traffic Police office Srinagar with regard to the emerging challenges faced in the management of traffic in Srinagar City, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.

In a statement issued here, a police spokesperson said, “SSP Traffic reiterated his commitment in light of the expectations of the Govt. and general public to streamline traffic and stressed upon his men in blue to exhibit high sense of responsibility and duty while regulating traffic and also to foster pubic police relationship with maximum focus on traffic regulation strictly as per the interaction held in the Meeting.”

“SSP further emphasized and stressed that Overloading in Buses, Minibuses or any other Pessanger Vehicles Should not be allowed in any Circumstances and further added that all Officer’s/Officials Should focus on Visible offences like w/o Helmet, Seat Belt, Uniforms, Insurance, D/L and Triple Riding, Rashly driving, Over speed etc,” reads the statement.

“Besides the officials, Following Officers/DTI’s namely Inspr Ranbir Singh, Inspr Naveen Sharma, Inspr Mushtaq Ahmed, Inspr Rakesh Kumar, Inspr Bovinder Singh, Inspr Mohd Qasim, Inspr Rajesh Thappa, Inspr Kulbir Singh, Inspr Kesar Singh, SI Mehraj Din LO TPL Sgr, All SO’s of Traffic City Srinagar, Syeed Ahmed of Crime Section & MHC Feroz Ahmad have attended the Meeting,” the statement added.
