JAMMU, AUGUST 01: A team of Geology and Mining Department comprising of Joint Director, Deputy Director (MS), Assistant Mining Engineer and District Mineral Officer sealed 02 illegally operating Stone Crushers located at Nandni area in the Tawi river bed. The sealing was done in presence of Magistrate and Police.
The said units were extracting minor minerals in odd hours from Tawi river downstream Nagrota which has been banned for extraction by the High Court.
