Srinagar, July 22, 2018:  Paying glowing tributes to slain youth in Kulgam, APHC chairman Syed Ali Geelani today alleged that people are facing extreme situations and during and after these encounters the civilian populations are subjected to arbitrary measures.

In a statement issued here, Geelani expressed his deep concern over prevailing situations in state and said that virtually authorities have changed state into a battle field.

“We salute our martyrs,” said Geelani adding it is stubborn attitude of India that precious lives are being snatched from already subjugated and suppressed people.

Meanwhile, Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep grief over the demise of uncle of incarcerated leader Shabir Ahmad Shah, praying for the departed soul. Geelani extended his condolences to bereaved family and prayed for their forbiddance to bear this irreparable loss.
