Srinagar, Jul 20: Over 90 percent of the complaints received by Governor N N Vohra’s administration since the imposition of his rule in the state have been disposed of or forwarded to quarters concerned.

Since the imposition of the Governor’s rule on June 20, the state’s Grievance Cell has received 5,901 complaints, an official spokesman said.

He said out of those, 5,365 were disposed of or forwarded to the quarters concerned for their timely redressal, while 1,156 complaints/grievances were under process.

The spokesman said during the same period, the Governor’s secretariat received 1,922 complaints/grievances. Of these, 1,784 were disposed of or forwarded to the quarters concerned.

The remaining 138 are under process, he added.
