Geelani, Malik expresses grief over demise of Khan

Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Geelani has expressed his deep grief over the demise of Haji Habib Ullah Khan.

Hailing his contribution, Geelani said that since long late Habib Ullah was maintaining Mazar-e-Shuhada Eidgah. Praying for his heavenly abode, Geelani extended his condolences to grieved family and prayed for their forbiddance to bear this irreparable loss.

A high level delegation of Huriyat conference comprising of Hakim Ab Rashid, Syed Mohd Shafi and Mohammad Saleem Zarger participated in his funeral prayer, a statement issued said.

Meanwhile, Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji Habibullah Khan who was maintaining martyrs grayed Eidgah Srinagar from a long time.

While paying tributes to Khan, JKLF chairman, in a statement said that his contribution and sacrifices will be always remembered.

A delegation comprising of vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal and zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri visited the bereaved family, participated in funeral prayers and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family, said the statement.
