SHOPIAN, JULY 18: Owais Ahmed today assumed the charge as District Development Commissioner Shopian.
After assuming the charge, the DDC took an introductory meeting with all district and sectoral officers of the district.
On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon concerned officers to execute the ongoing works within stipulated timeframe without any delay and create durable and tangible assets of public utility for sustainable development. The officers were asked to work with added zeal and dedication and in close coordination for the development of the district.
He also directed all the officers to immediately install biometric attendance devices so that the online monitoring of the staff attendance is ensured. He also directed the officers not to leave the station without prior permission and to maintain the movement registers for the tours and field visits.
Later, the DDC visited the mini secretariat and various district offices located in the mini secretariat complex.
