Srinagar: Police has sought help of general public in tracing three persons who have have gone missing from their respective areas.

A statement issued by police said that Abdul Rasheed Sofi resident of Ashmuqam Anantnag reported that his son Ishtiyaq Rasheed Sofi (aged 36 years), resident of Ashmuqam is missing from his home since 16-07-2018.

In this regard a missing report has been lodged in Police Station Ashmuqam and search to trace out the missing person has been started, the statement said.

“Anybody having any information regarding the missing person may kindly inform Police Station Ashmuqam on 9596777624 or PCR Anantnag on 9596777669, 94190-51910,” added the statement.

The police have also sought the help of public in tracing the 11-year-old boy Umer Farooq Malik son of Farooq Ahmad Malik resident of Gulgam who is missing from his native Village since yesterday evening.

In this connection, a case FIR No. 192/2018 under section 363 RPC has been registered in Police station Kupwara and the search to trace out the missing boy has been started.

“Anybody having any information regarding the missing boy may kindly inform Police station Kupwara on contact No’s 7051404914, 7051404915 or PCR Kupwara 7051404938, 01955252451,” said the statement.

In a separate statement police said that one Bilal Ahmad Khoosa son of Ab Wahab resident of Dalkhapora Rainawari reported that his nephew, Suhail Ahmad Daga (14 years old) son of Nazir Ahmad Daga resident of Khan Mohalla Choudry Bagh who is mentally unsound is missing from his home since 14-07-2018.

“Anybody having any information regarding the missing person may kindly inform Police Station Rainawari on 9596770661 or PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551, 01942477568 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 100,” said the statement.
