BANDIPORA, JULY 16: A National Lok Adalat was held at District Court Complex, Bandipora in which 150 cases of different nature were taken up for settlement, of which, 48 cases were settled amicably. A settlement amount of Rs 1,55,623 was awarded as compensation on the spot.
The first bench of the Lok Adalat was presided over by District & Sessions Judge, Bandipora Syed Sarafraz Hussain Shah, while as the second bench was presided over by Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon, chairman Tehsil Legal Services committee, Bandipora.
Another bench was held at Munsif Court, Sumbal under the chairmanship of chairman Tehsil Legal Services committee, Manzoor Hussain Chowdhary.
