Srinagar July 15:  Launching a scathing attack on the previous political dispensation-PDP-BJP Govt, for ignoring engagement of empanelled RETs in the State, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, G.A. Mir, expressed serious concern over the issue terming it a ‘well-planned conspiracy’.

In a press release issued here, Mir emphasized upon the Governor’s administration to revisit the case of RETs, who, he added, had been empanelled for permanent engagement.

He said the Finance Department too had already cleared them (RETs) but the previous Govt had forwarded the case to Law Department only to delay the proceedings.

“One fails to understand as to why these teachers were not engaged despite being empanelled for engagement and also after getting clearance by the Finance Department. This is something which needs to be looked into and responsibility fixed,” Mir was quoted as saying by the press release.
