A power point presentation was made to clarify some of the queries raised by the prospective training providers pertaining to the PMKVY scheme.

The training providers were also apprised about the current process of the PMKVY training. The deadline of 20th July 2018 has been kept for the training providers to complete all the registration formalities.

“Our aim is to develop the core competencies of the skill training institutions and establish such institutions as centres of excellence which will contribute in the overall development of the youth of J&K”, said JKSDM official.

Discussions were also held on how to provide quality skilling and employment opportunities to the youth. It is pertinent to mention that the state of J&K has established J&K Skill Development Mission to provide placement linked skill training under PMKVY (State Component) to the youth.
