Pattan: An army soldier died of cardiac arrest during morning exercise on Friday in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources said the slain solider Naik Bahadur Tokri (belt no. 14823665 A of 519 ASC Bn) fell unconscious during morning exercise at Pattan and was rushed to nearby MI room by his colleagues where doctors declared him brought dead. Later the body was taken to Sub-District Hospital Pattan for postmortem, where doctors said he seems to have died of cardiac arrest.
Police have has registered a case and started investigations.
