Srinagar, Jul 10: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a teacher for allegedly indulging in drug peddling.
“On 09-07-2018 late night hours, Kupwara police arrested one government teacher — Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Khaliq Lone, resident of Thaiyan Kalaroos, along with 21 kilograms of banned herbs (sheath kharr) at Boobi Top Budnambal,” said a police spokesman.
He said a case (FIR No 53/2018) under section 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act has been registered at Police Station Kralpora and further investigation is going on.
