Srinagar, July 10: Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG) Tuesday condoled the sudden demise of a Afroze Hussain, younger brother of senior journalist Altaf Hussain, and a cousin of ‘Greater Kashmir’ editor, Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo.
Afroze Hussain (55) was not keeping well from the past many months and it was on Monday that he breathed his last. The deceased is survived by his wife and two kids.
His funeral prayers were held at the ancestral graveyard of the family located at Soura Awanta Bawan on Tuesday morning.
KEG, while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
