Srinagar, Jul 09: The government today accorded sanction for re-constitution of Pay Anomaly Committee, which would be headed by the Administrative Secretary, Finance department.
Administrative Secretary of the concerned department or a representative not below the rank of Special Secretary, Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department, Secretary Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs would be its Members. Director (Codes), Finance Department would be the Member Secretary of the Committee.
The terms of reference of the Pay Anomaly Committee shall be to examine various anomalies in the existing pay structure as may come to the notice of the Committee and suggest measures to remove such anomalies, an official press release issued in this regard said.
It would also examine various anomalies (in the existing pay structure of various services) resulting from implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations or unresolved issues of earlier pay revisions. Further, the Committee would examine any other matter connected therewith or incidental thereto.
