The Army’s mobile field veterinary hospital yesterday lodged a missing report at a police station, stating that a soldier went for some personal work in a bank on July 06 but did not return.

The soldier, who had left his unit in civvies and without any weapon, had reached his home in Aurangabad, the spokesman said.

He said a contact was established with him and he is returning to the unit shortly to face disciplinary action as per Army rules for remaining absent without leave.
