Information Department accords warm send-off to retirees

 SRINAGAR, JUNE 29: Directorate of Information and Public Relations today held a function to bid an affectionate farewell to Senior Assistant Syed Nazir, who attained superannuation after serving the Department for almost three decades.

Director Information, Tariq Ahmad Zargar, Joint Director Information (Headquarters), Saajid Yehaya Naqash, Deputy Director (AV), Rakesh Dubey, and other senior officers and staff of DIPR were present on the occasion.

The Director Information described Nazir as an upright and an honest official who always did his work diligently. Services of the Nazir which he rendered for the Department were highly appreciated on the occasion.

The officers and staff of DIPR wished the retiring Senior Assistant a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.

On the occasion, Director Information and other officers presented a shawl, memento and bouquet to the Syed Nazir as a token of appreciation to his services for the Department.

Meanwhile, a warm farewell was also accorded to Assistant Information Officer, Kashmir Bureau of Information New Delhi, Veena Dhar, after attaining superannuation today.

She had been serving the Bureau for last 27 years. Officials on the occasion termed Ms Dhar as an honest and hardworking employee and wished her a prosperous and joyful post-retirement life.
