Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar, Jun 28: Government today ordered posting of staff in the personal sections of the Advisors to the Governor.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Additional Secretary, Tourism department, has been transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty to K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to the Governor.

Haris Ahmad Handoo, Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty to B B Vyas Advisor to the Governor.

Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Additional Secretary, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control department, has been transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty to B B Vyas, Advisor to the Governor.

Anil Sharma, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Special Assistant to K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to the Governor.

Meanwhile, Governor N N Vohra has accepted the resignation of Khurshid A Ganai as State Chief Information Commissioner.

Sources said that Ganai may be appointed as Advisor to the Governor.
