SRINAGAR, JUNE 27: Prof. Ibrahim Hafeezur Rehman, Director, Vision for Technology (VITO), Belgium, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.
Prof. Rehman briefed Governor about research work done by him in the field of environment and shared his views about the need for most urgent steps being taken for the conservation of the fragile ecology of the State, and, particularly, rejuvenation of the world-famous Dal and Wular lakes. He also offered suggestions regarding the initiatives required for promotion of sustainable eco-friendly tourism here.
