RAJOURI, JUNE 26: As many as 35 Anganwari workers/helpers were served termination notices in Rajouri by District Programme Officer, ICDS project Rajouri for remaining on unauthorised absence from duties. The workers/helpers have been asked to explain within 7 days why the action should not be initiated against them.
The notices were served after PO ICDS inspected 19 Anganwari centres in Sunderbani, Thandapani, Marchola, Praat, Bal Shama, Channi and Siot areas wherein 35 workers/helpers were found absent without any permission from concerned authorities.
Pertinently, strict instructions have been issued by the government to protesting Anganwari workers/ helpers for resuming their duties immediately as their demands are under considerations of government. Accordingly, all Anganwadi workers and Helpers of the District were asked to comply with the instructions.
