FC Arch and FC Arampora book place in finale

Ganderbal 25 Jan: FC Arch beat FC Kangan and  FC Armpora beat FC Nunar in  exhilarating semifinals of Syed Kirmaina football tournament here.

In the first semifinal FC Arch clashed against FC Kangan and as expected the match proved out to be an intense encounter.

Both teams attacked each other’s goal post many times but no one was able to break deadlock in regulated time.

The match was decided on panelty shotout .FC Arch kept the nerves and won the match by 2-0.Faisel and Zubair converted panelty spotkicks for FC Arch.

FC Armpora were against FC Nunar in second Semifinal. FC Arampora dominated the first half. First goal was scored by Sajid for FC Arampora and second goal was scored by Adil.

In the second half FC Nunar created many chances and  managed to scored a goal courtsey stunning goal by Wasim. FC Nunar tried very hard to equalize but strong defense of FC Arampora resisted every attack .Match ended with score line of 2-1 in favor of FC Armpora.

FC Arch will face FC Arampora in finale of Syed Kermian football tournament this weak.

Mohammad Amin organiser of the tourney while speaking to  ‘Kashmir Images’ said, “I  am trying my best to promote football in Ganderbal .Despite many hardship i continue  to  work for development of football in Ganderbal.Fooball is gaining popularity in Kashmir and we must tape the talent.”
